What this page shows

These are live usage figures for EV·ENGINE, the GPS-driven combustion engine sound simulator. The page refreshes every 30 seconds. You can see how many people are running the simulator right now, which of the 20 engines they pick, how long they stay, and which countries they drive in.

Further down sits the engineering data: the audio latency real devices report, split by platform, and how often a browser drops from the AudioWorklet to the simpler additive engine. Those two numbers decide whether you hear the engine as designed or a fallback.

Everything here is aggregate. The site sets no cookies, keeps no persistent identifier, and never records your location. A session id is random per page load and the browser throws it away when you close the tab, so nobody can link two visits or trace one back to you. Cloudflare works out the country at its edge, and country is as precise as this gets.
